Cyber Security Senior Consultant - Crypto Assets Infrastruktur 80-100%

As a Cyber Security Senior Consultant at Eraneos, you advise financial industry clients on building and evolving infrastructure and processes for crypto assets. You develop security and architecture concepts for key management, PKI, HSM, and cryptographic applications, while planning and executing key ceremonies that comply with standards such as ISAE3000. You take responsibility for client projects and collaborate closely with IT, information security, compliance, and other departments.

What you'll do

• Advise financial industry clients on building and advancing infrastructure and processes around crypto assets
• Develop security and architecture concepts for key management, PKI, HSM, and cryptographic applications
• Plan, conduct, and document key ceremonies in compliance with standards such as ISAE3000
• Take ownership of client projects and work closely with IT, information security, compliance, and other business units

What you bring

• Several years of professional experience in cryptographic topics including encryption, digital signatures, authentication, hash procedures, and quantum-safe methods
• Practical experience in PKI architectures, PKI process design, and implementation for crypto assets
• Experience in consulting or comparable project-based roles
• Background in IT security and data protection, including relevant security standards such as ISO 27001/2, NIST 800 Series, GDPR, BSI Grundschutz, and ITIL Foundation
• Knowledge of key ceremony execution in crypto-asset environments
• Experience developing security concepts, security policies, and similar documentation
• Fluent German and English
• Technical knowledge of hardware security modules such as smartcard HSM, Safenet, Thales, or YubiKey
• Technical foundational knowledge in IT-based communication, IT infrastructure, and IT security technologies such as IAM, SIEM, encryption solutions, and cloud security technologies

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, Grundschutz-Auditor, CISM, CISA, or CompTIA Security+, or equivalent knowledge from practical experience
