Cybersecurity Architect

As a Cybersecurity Architect at Azkait, you design and implement security architectures and defensive infrastructure for organizations across Latin America and the United States. Azkait is a Mexican firm that connects top IT talent with leading companies in the region and North America.

What you'll do

• Design and architect information security and defensive infrastructure solutions
• Implement Zero Trust frameworks and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and financial regulations
• Architect cloud security solutions for AWS and Azure environments, including IAM, cryptography, and certificate management
• Design secure network architectures, firewalls, and perimeter defenses
• Architect security for microservices, APIs, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevSecOps integration

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Fluent conversational English at C1/B2 level or higher
• At least 6 years of experience in information security architecture and defensive infrastructure
• Expert knowledge of Zero Trust, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and financial sector regulations
• Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure), IAM, cryptography, certificate management, and network/firewall security
• Experience architecting security for microservices, APIs, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevSecOps

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the insurance or financial sector
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AZ-500, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification
