dApp Product Strategy Specialist

As a dApp Product Strategy Specialist at Block Zed Labs, you support the strategy, development, positioning, and growth of decentralized applications and blockchain-enabled digital products. You identify high-value dApp opportunities, define product strategies, research user and market requirements, and translate blockchain capabilities into practical product experiences. You work at the intersection of product management, Web3 strategy, market research, and blockchain technology, collaborating with product leaders, blockchain developers, designers, business stakeholders, and ecosystem partners.

What you'll do

• Develop product strategies for decentralized applications, blockchain platforms, and Web3-enabled digital products
• Identify high-value dApp opportunities based on customer needs, industry trends, and emerging blockchain capabilities
• Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform product positioning and development priorities
• Translate business requirements and blockchain capabilities into clear product concepts and strategic roadmaps
• Define product requirements, user journeys, feature priorities, and measurable success criteria
• Collaborate with blockchain engineers, smart contract developers, designers, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Evaluate appropriate blockchain networks, protocols, and infrastructure for different product use cases
• Analyze user experience considerations involving wallets, transaction signing, gas fees, digital assets, and on-chain interactions
• Evaluate opportunities involving DeFi, tokenization, NFTs, decentralized identity, DAOs, and other Web3 technologies
• Research token utility and incentive structures where they provide meaningful value to the product ecosystem
• Assess decentralized governance models and their potential application within new products
• Develop strategies for user acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and ecosystem growth
• Analyze product usage, transaction activity, conversion, retention, and other performance indicators
• Establish product KPIs and use data-driven insights to recommend improvements
• Evaluate product-market fit and identify opportunities to improve usability, adoption, and commercial performance
• Conduct feasibility assessments for new blockchain products, integrations, and decentralized features
• Support prioritization decisions by balancing customer value, development requirements, security considerations, and commercial impact
• Work with technical teams to understand smart contract, scalability, interoperability, and infrastructure requirements
• Identify integration opportunities involving wallets, APIs, decentralized protocols, exchanges, and blockchain infrastructure providers
• Evaluate monetization opportunities including transaction fees, subscriptions, platform services, tokenized models, and enterprise solutions
• Monitor competitor products and emerging trends across blockchain, Web3, and decentralized application ecosystems
• Support go-to-market planning for new dApps and blockchain-enabled product launches
• Prepare product strategy documents, business cases, market analyses, roadmaps, and executive presentations
• Gather feedback from customers, partners, developers, and ecosystem participants to continuously improve product strategy
• Monitor regulatory and technological developments that may affect decentralized products and digital asset functionality
• Help ensure products maintain a practical balance between decentralization, usability, security, scalability, and business value

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience in product strategy, product management, blockchain, fintech, digital transformation, technology consulting, or a related area
• A strong understanding of blockchain technology, Web3 ecosystems, and decentralized applications
• Familiarity with smart contracts, wallets, digital assets, blockchain networks, and decentralized protocols
• An understanding of the differences between traditional Web2 products and decentralized Web3 applications
• Experience developing product requirements, roadmaps, user journeys, and feature prioritization frameworks
• A strong understanding of product-market fit, customer discovery, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy
• Familiarity with Ethereum, Layer 2 ecosystems, alternative Layer 1 networks, or similar blockchain infrastructure
• Knowledge of DeFi, tokenization, decentralized identity, NFTs, DAOs, or other Web3 use cases
• An ability to evaluate technical concepts and communicate effectively with blockchain engineers and developers
• Experience using product analytics, market intelligence, or business intelligence tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate user, market, and product data into actionable recommendations
• An ability to assess the commercial potential of emerging technologies and new digital products
• An understanding of usability, security, scalability, and interoperability considerations within blockchain products
• Experience working with cross-functional product, engineering, design, marketing, and business teams
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
• Comfort working in a rapidly evolving technology environment
• A strong interest in decentralized technologies, digital transformation, and the future of Web3 products

What we offer

• Salary of $120,000-$170,000 USD per year, depending on experience
