
As a Data Analyst at Cumberland (DRW), you join the Data Acquisition team working in close collaboration with the Trading Strategy group. You'll assist in preparing data collection strategies by gathering and processing data from a variety of sources, supporting traders and analysts across global markets including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy.
What you'll do
- Prepare and deploy configurations of data collection strategies for use by analysts and traders
- Collaborate with research and trading teams in both pre- and post-trade analysis to prepare detailed reports and investigations
- Operate proprietary tools and systems and troubleshoot issues in real-time
- Work with different teams to design and maintain state-of-the-art operations platforms
- Design proprietary process automation and monitoring tools, leveraging third-party technologies as appropriate

- Basic knowledge of global macroeconomics
- Interest in learning about global markets and equities, and how information is disseminated within them
- Resourcefulness in searching for detailed information
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a quickly-changing environment
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, commerce, information technology or computer science
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters Eikon terminals
- Basic knowledge of Python automation
- Proficiency in Japanese language
