Derivative Sales Analyst

As a Derivative Sales Analyst on Coinbase's Institutional team, you own and grow relationships with top VIP derivatives traders, driving volume across futures, options, and perpetuals. You'll source new high-value traders from competitor venues, re-engage dormant accounts, and bring structured market and client insights back to Product, Risk, and Marketing to shape Coinbase Advanced trading offerings.

What you'll do

• Own and grow relationships with top VIP derivatives traders on Coinbase, driving increased trading volume, deepening engagement, and expanding adoption of advanced trading products.
• Source and convert new high-value derivatives traders from competitor venues through targeted outbound campaigns, market positioning, and relationship-building.
• Monitor derivatives market structure, client flows, and competitor offerings to identify upsell opportunities, inform pricing and product feedback, and deliver structured insights to Product, Risk, and Marketing.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast for your book, reporting on key KPIs including volume, active traders, winbacks, and competitor migration, and document client interactions through CRM tooling.
• Reactivate previously dormant top traders using data-driven tools and bespoke incentives to restore sustained volume.
• Build and refine AI-powered workflows for pipeline prioritization, client segmentation, and outreach personalization to scale coverage across your book.

What you bring

• 2+ years of sales or business development experience in financial services, trading, or crypto, with a track record of hitting or exceeding revenue and volume targets.
• Demonstrated fluency in derivatives products such as futures, options, and perpetuals in traditional finance or crypto markets, evidenced by prior trading desk, brokerage, or exchange experience.
• A data-driven operating style with experience using dashboards, CRMs, and basic analytics to segment books, identify opportunities, and prioritize outreach.
• A background in business, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience working directly with trading clients.
• The ability to use generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

• A pre-existing network of active institutional derivatives traders you can bring to the platform on day one.

What we offer

• Annual base salary of £90,450-£100,500 GBP, plus bonus eligibility and benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
• Remote-first work with quarterly in-person working sessions called surges.
