DevSecOps / Security Engineer (M/F/*)

As a DevSecOps / Security Engineer at Amber, you will secure and improve the infrastructure of a leading European business AI startup. You join a growing team to strengthen security across cloud, Kubernetes, networks, IAM, and CI/CD environments while collaborating closely with DevOps and development teams.

What you'll do

• Analyse and improve the security of cloud, Kubernetes, network, IAM, and CI/CD environments
• Implement and continuously develop solutions for scanning vulnerabilities, dependencies, containers, secrets, and infrastructure-as-code
• Define security requirements, assess risks, and coordinate vulnerability remediation with DevOps and development teams
• Improve security monitoring and support investigation and handling of security incidents
• Support implementation and development of ISO 27001 compliance, audits, access reviews, and maintenance of security documentation
• Strengthen security expertise within existing Ops and DevOps teams and take responsibility for security-related topics

What you bring

• Practical experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or a comparable role
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, networking, IAM, CI/CD, and common security tools
• A hands-on approach and willingness to take independent responsibility for security-related topics
• Strong ability to work closely with Ops, DevOps, and software development teams
• The ability to assess and prioritise technical risks clearly and develop sustainable solutions with involved teams
• Efficiency, resilience, and the capacity to maintain focus while managing multiple complex topics simultaneously
