Director – Growth Products - AP Crypto Product and Commercialization

As Director of Growth Products for Asia Pacific Crypto at Visa, you identify and build transformative crypto products for the region, working with Global Product and Technology teams to localize and deploy offerings across markets. You own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through market validation, pilot execution, launch and scaling, while managing partnerships, regulatory compliance, and commercial transitions across Asia Pacific.

What you'll do

• Identify and build transformative products in Asia Pacific and enhance current products to deliver value to the business and clients
• Partner closely with Global Product and Technology teams to localize and deploy global crypto products across Asia Pacific markets
• Expand and manage innovative proofs of concept, pilots and partnerships with key clients, scaling emerging crypto product lines from initial concept to go-to-market execution
• Support the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept development and market validation through pilot execution, launch and scaling
• Gather market, client and partner feedback and translate insights into product enhancements and roadmap recommendations
• Manage pilot-to-production transitions and support commercial scaling efforts across priority markets
• Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders across legal, risk and compliance for assessments on existing and new crypto-related products
• Support licensing reviews, regulatory submissions and application processes where required across Asia Pacific markets
• Stay current on the latest developments in the crypto industry, including updates to regulations, stablecoins, tokenized deposits and CBDCs, and incorporate learnings into adaptable products that can pivot quickly to meet market demand

What you bring

• 12 or more years of experience leading product management, product development or commercialization at fintech, payments, crypto or financial services companies
• A demonstrated track record of building products or solutions and leading complex solution design and delivery within digital currency or fintech environments
• Significant functional knowledge of the digital currency ecosystem and blockchain technology, plus a deep understanding of retail payment solutions and cross-border payments
• Experience working with fintechs, crypto wallets and exchanges, including specific experience partnering with crypto infrastructure providers
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity to identify new opportunities and anticipate how crypto can impact the payments ecosystem
• Experience working across product, technology, legal, compliance and risk functions
• Expertise in explaining complex concepts and technologies to broad audiences of external and internal partners
• Advanced communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
• A strategic, analytical approach to thinking that challenges the status quo and constructively pushes teams to higher standards
• Previous experience in a product role at a startup or high-growth company
• An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline
