Director of Project Management

As Director of Project Management at NBX, you shape the company's overall project management strategy and oversee its core initiatives spanning blockchain platform development, digital asset trading systems, cryptocurrency wallet development, and fintech product upgrades. You lead the project management function across the entire organization, ensuring alignment between project objectives and corporate development strategy while driving execution excellence across multiple technically complex initiatives.

What you'll do

• Develop the company's overall project management strategy, annual work plans, and project implementation roadmaps, ensuring alignment between project objectives and corporate development strategy
• Oversee multiple core company projects including blockchain platform development, optimization of digital asset trading systems, cryptocurrency wallet development, and upgrading of fintech products
• Establish mechanisms for evaluating project priorities and allocating resources to ensure key projects progress according to plan
• Take comprehensive responsibility for the entire project lifecycle, from requirements analysis and project initiation through development, implementation, testing, acceptance, and launch
• Establish standardized project management policies, processes, and quality control systems to enhance execution efficiency and delivery quality
• Monitor project progress, budgets, resource allocation, and deliverables, while proactively identifying and resolving issues during execution
• Lead the project management team and coordinate collaborative efforts across departments including Product, Technology, Engineering, Information Security, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and Operations
• Define clear roles and responsibilities, communication protocols, and performance evaluation standards to boost team execution and collaborative efficiency
• Mentor project managers and functional leads, fostering the development of professionals capable of independently managing complex projects
• Oversee projects related to blockchain infrastructure, smart contract applications, digital asset custody, trading platforms, and wallet services
• Coordinate with technical teams to execute system architecture upgrades, product feature iterations, system integration, and performance optimization
• Stay abreast of developments in blockchain technology, industry trends in digital assets, and shifts in market demand to evaluate the feasibility and value of potential new projects
• Implement mechanisms for identifying, assessing, and providing early warnings for project risks, as well as developing contingency plans to mitigate risks such as project delays, budget overruns, or technical implementation failures
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Information Security teams to ensure projects adhere to applicable laws, regulations, data protection requirements, and internal corporate control standards
• Develop and implement specific project controls to address risks unique to the digital asset industry, including cybersecurity threats, private key management, smart contract vulnerabilities, and business continuity concerns
• Develop and manage project budgets, oversee the allocation and utilization of human resources, technology, external vendors, and other assets
• Evaluate project cost-effectiveness and optimize resource allocation to enhance return on investment (ROI) and overall operational efficiency
• Coordinate with key vendors and external partners, managing project deliverables and evaluating their performance
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to regularly assess project progress, delivery quality, budget adherence, and business outcomes
• Provide company management with project status reports, risk analyses, and recommendations for improvement to support critical business decision-making
• Continuously refine project management methodologies, tools, and workflows, while driving the standardization, transparency, and sustainable development of the project management framework

What you bring

• Over 20 years of management experience, with a solid background in project management, technical management, business operations, or large-scale enterprise management
• Extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and complex project portfolios, with the ability to oversee multiple high-value, technically complex initiatives simultaneously
• Proficiency in core project management methodologies, including scope management, scheduling, cost control, quality management, risk management, and resource coordination
• Experience in project management within the blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital asset, fintech, or related technology sectors, with familiarity of digital asset trading platforms, blockchain systems, and associated business processes
• Exceptional team leadership, cross-departmental coordination, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to align diverse functional teams toward common goals
• Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the capacity to navigate complex project challenges in a rapidly evolving business environment
• Proficiency in project management tools and enterprise collaboration systems, with the ability to establish standardized mechanisms for project tracking, progress reporting, and performance management
• Strong competence in budget management, resource planning, and business risk control, with the ability to strike an optimal balance between project quality, timelines, costs, and business objectives
• High level of execution capability, a strong sense of responsibility, and professional integrity, with the ability to thrive in the fast-paced, multi-project environment characteristic of the digital asset industry
