Equity Research Analyst （DV Equities）

As an Equity Research Analyst at DV Equities, you will immerse yourself in the information landscape, staying abreast of real-time news developments to help our trading strategies. You will provide timely insights and analysis that feed into critical decision-making processes within our trading operations across the Asia-Pacific region.

What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with traders and other analysts to communicate significant market events instantly
• Analyze broad macro trends, closely monitor geopolitical developments, and perform deep dives into company financials
• Construct and uphold detailed company and market databases

What you bring

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, spoken and written
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience
• Independent initiative and robust analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong technical proficiency in Excel and experience with Bloomberg or Reuters
• A strong interest in following the news and market movements, with an understanding of their impact on trading
• A strong work ethic and the capability to assimilate quickly in a demanding, high-pressure environment

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages
• Prior experience in buy-side or sell-side research
