
As Head of Business Intelligence for Europe at Bybit, you serve as the single owner of all EU data management across the organization. You build and maintain the data infrastructure that fulfills compliance, business, and financial requirements across multiple licensed entities, combining hands-on data governance with strategic advisory to management on business risks and opportunities.
What you'll do
- Act as the sole owner of all EU BI data management across business lines, designing and implementing data structures that fulfill compliance, business, and financial reporting requirements
- Ensure data coverage spans all EU-licensed entities under MiCAR, EMI, MIFID, and future licenses, establishing and maintaining a unified data architecture for consistent cross-entity reporting
- Own and deliver all regular regulatory reports with accuracy and timeliness, and produce financial projections and business data analysis for management decision-making
- Manage tax reporting data requirements and ensure data readiness for audits, identifying and resolving business data discrepancies while supporting management and teams in troubleshooting data issues
- Lead the data governance framework for EU operations, including data segregation and data protection policies, ensuring full compliance with EU GDPR and DORA requirements
- Implement and maintain data classification, access controls, and retention policies, coordinating with legal and compliance teams on data-related regulatory obligations
- Proactively identify and escalate business risks through data insights, supporting management in taking timely action on risk indicators
- Monitor and report on important business impacts and competitor movements, providing data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisions
What you bring
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Proven professional background in Business Intelligence, data processing, financial analysis, or business data analysis
- Experience in the financial industry or at large exchanges, with exposure to big data environments
- A track record managing data governance, compliance reporting, or regulatory data submissions
- Strong proficiency with mainstream data analysis and processing tools such as SQL, Python/R, and BI platforms
- A solid understanding of data architecture and data structure design
- Experience with financial data processing and reporting systems
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and EU regulatory standards including GDPR and DORA
- An understanding of data virtualization and structured data processing techniques
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- The ability to communicate complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Previous experience at a crypto exchange, fintech, or licensed financial institution
- Experience handling multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction data management
- Knowledge of tax reporting requirements in EU jurisdictions
- Experience with DORA compliance implementation
