Execution Trader (Blockchain)

As an Execution Trader at Mamoru, you execute trades and monitor positions during US market hours in our Toronto office. You support senior traders by tracking market trends, managing positions, and helping improve our trading infrastructure across blockchain markets.

What you'll do

• Execute trades and monitor positions during US market hours
• Track market trends, news, and economic developments in US and Canadian blockchain markets
• Support senior traders with trade execution and strategy monitoring
• Monitor positions, leverage, and funding mechanics
• Record and report trade activity and portfolio performance
• Use dashboards and spreadsheets to track trades
• Work with developers and traders to improve trading tools and processes
• Follow risk limits and trading procedures
• Stay updated on new financial products, blockchain market developments, and regulations

What you bring

• 0-1 years of institutional trading experience or strong exposure to blockchain markets
• A basic understanding of leverage, funding mechanics, and derivatives
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using spreadsheets to track trades
• Willingness to work on-site in Toronto
• Flexibility to work additional hours when needed

Nice to have

• Experience trading spot or derivatives instruments
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Python, SQL, or similar languages
