Execution Trader

As an Execution Trader at FalconX, you facilitate institutional digital asset trading on the FalconX prime brokerage platform. You join a fast-growing fintech team backed by leading investors including Accel Partners, Tiger Global, American Express, Fidelity, Coinbase, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Altimeter Capital, and Mirae Asset. You help institutional clients navigate the crypto markets through best-in-class trading, credit, custody, and structured products, handling tens of billions of dollars in monthly trading volume.

What you'll do

• Facilitate whiteglove OTC block and algo trades for institutional clients
• Engage cross-functionally to understand the OTC business comprehensively
• Scout for liquidity from dark pools and provide best execution to clients
• Ensure accurate trade capture and settlement
• Diagnose issues and escalate root causes to maintain execution excellence
• Contribute to all aspects of trading desk activities including position reconciliation, risk management, and post-trade analysis
• Propose and implement process improvements and automation solutions
• Assist the markets team on strategic initiatives to expand bottomline potential
• Potentially get involved with business owners on key projects emerging from Asia

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
• 1-3 years of experience in Trading, Desk Support, Financial Services, or Brokerage
• Numerical inclination and strong proficiency with spreadsheet applications
• High attention to detail and the ability to use sound judgment under pressure
• Interest in fintech, blockchain, and digital assets
• Willingness to work during US hours and/or early APAC hours
• Availability for weekend hours coverage
