Finance Systems Manager- crypto

As a Finance Systems Manager at Binance, you own the transformation of our internal inventory system. This individual contributor role sits at the intersection of finance operations, product management, and technology. You will act as product owner for the inventory platform, driving enhancements, integrations, and data migrations end-to-end. In a resource-constrained environment, you build tools, scripts, and AI-driven workflows independently to solve problems without a dedicated engineering team.

What you'll do

• Own the inventory system roadmap, plan enhancements, draft business and product requirements documents, and lead end-to-end delivery from design through user acceptance testing to release.
• Lead UAT cycles by defining test plans, executing QA, and signing off before deployment.
• Troubleshoot system issues and build self-service diagnostic scripts rather than relying on engineering.
• Drive ERP integration and build automated data pipelines when engineering support is unavailable.
• Plan and execute data migrations with scripting and AI-assisted tooling for validation and reconciliation.
• Identify, design, and implement automation and AI-driven workflows across finance operations, including journal entry generation, bank reconciliation, data extraction, reporting, and exception handling.
• Build and maintain self-service tools, dashboards, and scripts using Python, SQL, Excel/VBA, and low-code platforms to enable the finance team to operate independently.
• Evaluate and integrate AI and machine learning tools such as large language models, copilots, and robotic process automation into day-to-day operations to reduce manual effort.
• Maintain system documentation and leverage AI to keep business requirements documents, runbooks, and user guides current.
• Support ad-hoc finance transformation initiatives with a bias toward scalable, repeatable solutions over one-off manual work.

What you bring

• 8-10 years in FinTech, Financial Services, or fast-moving tech environments.
• A qualified accountant credential (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) with multi-currency accounting experience.
• Hands-on ERP experience with systems such as SAP, Workday, or NetSuite, including integrations or migrations.
• Proven UAT leadership for finance or enterprise systems.
• Hands-on ability to build tools independently using Python, SQL, and/or VBA, and comfort with low-code platforms.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as large language models, copilots, and robotic process automation to automate analysis, documentation, testing, or workflows.
• Strong Excel skills for large-dataset reconciliation and data validation.
• Self-starter comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments.
• Strong stakeholder management across operators and senior leadership.
• Passion for crypto and blockchain technology.
