Financial Operations Manager

As a Financial Operations Manager at Robinhood, you'll prepare and assist in producing daily and monthly financial regulatory reports for the broker/dealer, and support the accounting close process. You join a detail-driven team responsible for the firm's compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory agencies, compiling and reviewing regulatory and financial reports including 15c3-3 Customer Reserve, Net Capital Computations, and FOCUS reports.

What you'll do

• Prepare or assist in producing required financial regulatory reports for the broker/dealer, including the Reserve Computation and FOCUS report
• Assist the team in the month-end accounting close process for the registered broker/dealer, including preparing accounting entries, reconciliation, and financial reports
• Assemble data to complete the reports required to comply with daily regulatory reporting requirements

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the finance department of a bank or broker/dealer with deep knowledge of key processes and controls surrounding the preparation and delivery of required regulatory reports
• Accounting experience at a financial institution, including knowledge of accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and SQL, with comfort using AI tools to work more efficiently
• Series 27 or 99 (preferred, but you will need to obtain within 1 year if not already held)
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and eagerness to rapidly ramp up on new subject matter

• Base pay range varies by location: Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC) $110,500-$130,000 USD; Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $96,900-$114,000 USD; Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL) $85,850-$101,000 USD

This role is based in New York, NY; Chicago, IL; or Menlo Park, CA, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
