Financial Services - Investigations & Compliance - Crypto Manager

As a Financial Crime & Forensics Crypto Manager at EY, you supervise and develop junior colleagues while executing your own work across a portfolio of clients and internal projects. You work within EY's Financial Services practice, supporting clients in the financial services sector with investigations, compliance, and regulatory issues related to crypto assets and financial crime.

What you'll do

• Supervise and develop junior colleagues, briefing them and reviewing their work
• Execute your own work to a standard requiring minimal review across a portfolio of clients and internal projects
• Take personal responsibility for leading engagements and ensuring deadlines are met to clients' satisfaction
• Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships
• Provide commercial insights to clients based on your knowledge and experience
• Work on investigations, financial crime framework reviews, risk assessments, claims and disputes, fraud and financial crime prevention, and compliance programme development within the financial services sector

What you bring

• Knowledge and professional experience of crypto assets
• Experience working in the financial services sector
• A degree in any subject with a strong academic record
• Experience managing juniors, including coaching on discrete tasks and reviewing outputs
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Assertive and confident interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle diverse and pressing assignments simultaneously, including sensitive and adversarial situations
• Critical thinking skills with very good attention to detail
• Comfort working both independently and in a team

Nice to have

• Professional accountancy or other financial qualification such as ICA, CFE or CAMS
