As a Front-End Engineer on Blockchain.com's Institutional team, you will build a new set of UIs designed for institutional traders. Based in the London office, you'll work closely with traders and internal teams to develop high-performance, well-tested interfaces that handle large amounts of data and live updates.
What you'll do
- Build out a new set of UIs for the institutional team with deep consideration for UX and performance
- Develop innovative visualizations of user portfolios and responsive interfaces
- Work closely with traders through implementation to build optimized and efficient internal tools
- Write well-tested, reliable code for use by trading, operations and support teams handling large amounts of data and live updates
- Collaborate proactively with team members to share knowledge and divide work efficiently
- Work on challenging problems in the cryptocurrency space
- Gain exposure to the latest technologies in a product-driven company
What you bring
- Integrity as a core quality
- At least 2 years of experience working with JavaScript and client-side web applications
- Experience building innovative data visualizations
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, NextJS and Styled Components
- Experience with front-end architecture, testing and state management solutions
- Experience interacting with crypto applications
- The ability to adapt to rapid business growth and change
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Openness to candid feedback for continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor to enhance productivity and streamline coding workflow
