Frontend Engineer

As a Frontend Engineer at TheFactual, you'll take a crypto trading platform from early version to production, shipping both a web app and iOS app. You'll build on a working base from written specs and a design system, using AI tools to move fast while owning the quality of what you ship.

What you'll do

• Build and ship screens on web using Next.js, React, and TypeScript, and on iOS using React Native or Expo
• Maintain the component library and design tokens
• Own performance, accessibility, SEO, and animation quality across both platforms
• Connect screens to backend APIs as they become available
• Handle releases and App Store submissions
• Work with the founders and backend engineer to ship fast

What you bring

• 2+ years of frontend engineering experience
• Shipped a production web app in Next.js and React with TypeScript
• Shipped at least one app to the App Store using React Native, Expo, or native development
• A strong eye for detail: spacing, motion, and mobile performance
• Experience using AI coding tools and reviewing their output
• Clear written English

Nice to have

• Framer Motion and animation experience
• Experience building charts and data-heavy interfaces
• Background with fintech or trading products

What we offer

• Fixed salary of ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per month
• 100% remote with flexible hours and one fixed hour of daily overlap
