Full Stack Blockchain Engineer

As a Full Stack Blockchain Engineer at NonceBlox, you will own high-throughput decentralized systems across the entire stack: from protocol architecture and smart contract design through indexing, backend services, and frontend user flows. You understand what happens across layers when a transaction is broadcast, and you move fluently from product requirement to protocol design to contract implementation to production rollout.

What you'll do

• Design, optimize, and deploy core EVM smart contracts. You'll evaluate gas profiles, write invariant and fuzz tests in Foundry, design upgradeability paths, and defend against economic exploits including reentrancy, oracle arbitrage, flash loans, and front-running.
• Build high-performance TypeScript across Next.js interfaces using viem and wagmi, stand up reliable RPC pipelines, and build low-latency indexing layers via subgraphs or custom data extractors.
• Architect workflows using ERC-4337, EIP-7702, paymasters, session keys, and cross-chain messaging primitives such as LayerZero, Chainlink CCIP, and Axelar to remove friction from end-user experience.
• Design how autonomous off-chain agents interact with smart contracts, including delegated signing, programmatic permissions, and agentic on-chain execution.
• Set engineering conventions, run rigorous code reviews, guide build-vs-buy decisions, and mentor other engineers on systems design as the team grows.

What you bring

• 4+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years shipping production Web3 systems
• Strong Solidity, EVM internals, gas optimization, and production ERC standards
• Foundry (fuzzing and invariant testing), Slither, static analysis, and practical threat modeling
• TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, viem, wagmi, and modern wallet connection standards
• Node orchestration, RPC management, event streaming pipelines, and subgraphs such as The Graph or Goldsky
• ERC-4337 fundamentals, smart contract wallets, and multi-chain user flows

Nice to have

• Experience with non-EVM environments including Rust, Solana/Anchor, CosmWasm, or Move
• Formal verification frameworks, smart-contract audit experience, and MEV mitigation
• Complex state machine design, GraphQL, and building custom transaction indexers
• Zero-Knowledge circuits and decentralized sequencer architectures
• ERC-7579 modular accounts, EIP-7702, and intent-based solver/filler architectures
