Futures & Prediction Market Operations Intern (Summer 2027)

As a Futures & Prediction Market Operations Intern at Robinhood, you'll perform essential daily duties to keep the futures and prediction markets business running efficiently. You'll join Robinhood Derivatives (RHD), a newly formed entity focused on futures, event contracts, and options on futures. Working closely with operations, trading, and internal teams across CX, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Financial Crimes, Finance, and Customer Trust and Safety, you'll help coordinate business operations and set up the infrastructure for a successful launch and scale.

What you'll do

• Review operational reports and assist with operational tasks
• Assist operations and compliance with audit inquiries
• Support Futures Risk in performing analytical functions
• Streamline operational and risk workflows
• Work on initial setup of futures and event contract operational processes, tools, documentation, and workflows
• Coordinate with third-party clearing firms, exchanges, and vendors to maintain effective working relationships
• Perform clearing and settlement of futures and prediction markets, futures options trades, and event contracts
• Analyze trade and position reconciliations
• Resolve trading issues related to futures and event contracts
• Review regulatory reports to ensure proper compliance
• Become a subject matter expert with exposure to leadership and different teams across Robinhood

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Finance, Business, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
• Curiosity about the futures market, derivatives, and back office clearing
• A demonstrated history of operational excellence and problem solving
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work with colleagues across the company to quickly resolve issues and develop long-term strategies for growth
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple daily tasks and projects with various deadlines
