General Manager, Southeast Asia

As General Manager for Southeast Asia at OKX, you lead the region's growth and revenue strategy for a leading crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet. You report to global leadership and own all aspects of the Southeast Asia operation, from affiliate partnerships and VIP services to regulatory liaison and market expansion, while building and leading a high-performing commercial team across the region.

What you'll do

• Contribute to global revenue targets by scaling affiliate partnerships, VIP services, and business development initiatives across Southeast Asia.
• Build and scale a high-performing regional affiliate programme that consistently delivers strong ROI.
• Drive business strategies, partnerships, and campaigns to outgrow competitors in the region.
• Explore and launch new digital asset products and services to expand OKX's offerings and enhance customer experience.
• Translate strategy into executable plans with measurable KPIs and deliverables.
• Continuously optimize affiliate campaigns, user conversion funnels, and VIP retention programs to maximize revenue impact.
• Monitor market trends and competitor moves to identify opportunities and threats in Southeast Asia.
• Develop market-specific product ideas and ensure timely launches in collaboration with global teams.
• Partner with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure governance and operational integrity, consider potential licensing strategies, and facilitate regulatory liaisons.
• Represent OKX at industry events and conferences, build relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
• Build strong relationships with affiliates, VIPs, and ecosystem partners to deepen OKX's position as a top 5 exchange and strengthen brand presence and loyalty.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-impact commercial team focused on affiliate management, business development, and VIP servicing.
• Build a performance-driven culture that consistently exceeds targets.

What you bring

• 10+ years of leadership experience at a top-tier crypto exchange, fintech, or trading platform.
• Proven experience with government relations and liaison with regulators in Southeast Asia, including licensing, supervisory reporting, and compliance matters.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as AML/CFT, data protection, and VASP-related laws and regulations.
• Fluency in Southeast Asian languages and English.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills with external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience working with regulators and leading licensing applications or acquisitions.
• Proven ability to operate in heavily regulated and competitive environments while driving growth.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multi-million dollar monthly revenue growth through business development and affiliate acquisition strategies.
• Experience owning P&L, setting market KPIs, and exceeding aggressive growth targets.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
