Graduate Trader

Flow Traders is seeking Graduate Traders to join its Trading team in Hong Kong. You will begin your career with an extensive 3-month training program at the Amsterdam office, learning the firm's core business, financial products, trading processes, pricing strategies, and proprietary trading systems. This is your entry point into a leading proprietary trading firm with an entrepreneurial and innovative culture.

What you'll do

• Complete a comprehensive 3-month training program at the Amsterdam office covering core business, financial products, trading processes, pricing strategies, and proprietary trading systems
• Participate in trading simulations and quantitative classes hosted by Senior Traders and Quantitative Researchers
• Collaborate with fellow graduate traders on a team project to conclude the training program
• Join an established trading desk based on your skills and interests
• Monitor markets and make split-second decisions to contribute to your desk's profitability

What you bring

• A university degree, preferably in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
• Demonstrable interest in trading and global financial markets
• Understanding of financial products
• Proficiency in Excel and a keen interest in IT systems and development languages
• Ability to deliver under pressure with excellent mental arithmetic and analytical skills
• Ability to spot arising opportunities and the assertiveness to seize them
• An entrepreneurial mindset that thrives on creative problem solving
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
