Join Maven Securities' Graduate Trader Programme in Amsterdam as a proprietary trader specializing in options and derivatives market making. Maven invests deliberately in a small cohort of high-potential individuals each year, combining comprehensive training, real responsibility and long-term career development rather than hiring large classes with high attrition.

What you'll do

• Learn the foundations of options market making through structured training and live trading
• Build your understanding of pricing, probability and risk through theory-led and practical sessions
• Apply your learning through trading simulation, mock trading and classroom-based training delivered by Maven's in-house trainers
• Gain exposure to the tools and systems used on the trading desk
• Start live trading within your first eight weeks, taking on increasing responsibility with support from the Trading and Emerging Talent teams

What you bring

• Final-year undergraduate or master's student status, or recent graduate
• Strong numeracy skills and solid understanding of probability and statistics
• Genuine interest in financial markets and curiosity to learn
• Willingness to adopt and utilise emerging AI technologies
• Entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to generate ideas, take initiative and drive innovation
• Critical problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to analyse situations and think clearly
• Agility as a learner, able to quickly acquire knowledge, respond to feedback and adapt insights across contexts
• Ability to synthesise information, resolve conflicting inputs and see the bigger picture
