- Provide interconnection feasibility and risk input to site selection and development/M&A activities
- Oversee the power assets behind each interconnection including substations, switching stations, points of delivery, UPS, and behind-the-meter equipment
- Coordinate design, buildout, energization, and ongoing reliability with internal teams, utilities, and vendors
- Own protection, modeling, and reliability considerations for connected assets, applying transmission-grade engineering standards
- Manage power-related vendors and consultants across the full asset lifecycle
- Provide input to Galaxy's regulatory strategy for large load interconnection and defend it before ERCOT and the Public Utility Commission of Texas
- Monitor and influence Texas legislation, PUCT dockets, and ERCOT Planning Guide and Nodal Protocol revision requests affecting large loads
- Represent Galaxy in ERCOT stakeholder and working groups, building relationships with ERCOT leadership, utilities, and regulators
