Group Product Manager, Money Movement

As a Group Product Manager on the FinHub team at Coinbase, you own the systems that ensure every dollar and token moving through the company reaches its correct destination. FinHub powers money movement across fiat (ACH, wires, cards, RTP, SEPA) and crypto (dozens of blockchain networks), as well as internal movement across ledgers, legal entities, and customer accounts. You'll set the reliability standard for money movement at Coinbase and lead through influence to hold the company accountable to it.

What you'll do

• Own the multi-year vision and strategy for money movement reliability and controls across fiat and crypto, defining per-rail service levels and resolution targets for every fund flow
• Build the controls infrastructure governing money movement by determining which risk, compliance, and financial controls apply to each flow, verifying they ran, and confirming they passed before funds move
• Drive real-time detection and end-to-end tracing across payment rails, blockchain networks, controls, and the ledger to identify and resolve failures fast
• Scale correctness through AI agents that propose controls from product specs, triage alerts before an engineer opens them, and remediate within governed limits
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and every product group that moves money to establish control ownership and hold teams accountable for their fund flows

What you bring

• 10+ years of product management experience with deep expertise in money movement, payments infrastructure, ledgering, or financial platforms at scale
• A track record owning strategy for large-scale money movement or financial systems, such as payment processing, transfers, ledgers, reconciliation, or the reliability layers around them
• Deep technical fluency in distributed systems, event streaming, idempotency, double-entry ledgering, reconciliation, and the design of preventive and detective controls
• Demonstrated ability to set standards that other teams must meet and make them stick across organizational boundaries in a highly regulated environment
• Ability to utilise generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
