Head of Card Product

As Head of Card Product at Mesh, you own a groundbreaking program end to end: enabling consumers to pay with crypto while merchants receive ordinary card payments. You sit at the intersection of consumer experience, bank partnerships, network relationships, and compliance frameworks that make crypto spendable at over a hundred million merchants in more than two hundred countries. This role exists because card programs are won by earning the confidence of banks and networks, and Mesh needs someone who has spent their career learning how card programs really work.

What you'll do

• Own the card program end to end: its launch, growth, economics, and every decision that touches it
• Earn the confidence of banks and networks by sitting across from bank officers, network compliance teams, and regulators in every market the program touches, and getting to yes on KYC, fraud, refunds, and every edge case of how money moves
• Make paying with crypto feel effortless by deciding the user experience for provisioning a card into a wallet, confirming on device, and recovering from failed or disputed transactions
• Win distribution through wallet partners by pitching the product, shaping each integration, and making partners successful
• Decide what cards become at Mesh: new programs, networks, geographies, and commercialization strategy

What you bring

• Experience owning a regulated financial product that shipped through a bank partner or regulator, such as a card program, lending product, or money movement product
• Compliance fluency: you have earned a compliance sign-off from a bank partner, network, or regulator on KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, fraud, and disputes
• Consumer product judgment: you have owned a consumer payments or fintech product and can speak to its outcomes in volume, activation, retention, or P&L
• Experience shipping device-level payment experiences including secure element or secure enclave integration, push provisioning, and token requestor work with networks
• Daily use of AI to draft program documentation, model economics, and automate operational work

• Annual base salary of $229,000 to $300,000, plus equity
