Head of Cyber Security (Crypto Exchange)

As Head of Cyber Security at FLOQ, you lead a team of security engineers to protect our crypto exchange's digital assets and customer data. You bridge complex blockchain security requirements with scalable software engineering practices, fostering a security-first culture while ensuring compliance with Indonesian financial regulations including OJK standards and ISO 27017.

What you'll do

• Mentor and scale a team of security engineers specializing in AppSec, Cloud Security, and Infrastructure
• Design and oversee secure architectures for cold and hot wallet systems, MPC (Multi-Party Computation) protocols, and exchange engines
• Lead integration of automated security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST) into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure code is secure before production deployment
• Serve as technical lead during high-severity security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term remediations
• Ensure all engineering practices align with OJK and ISO 27017 standards
• Manage relationships with external auditors for periodic penetration testing and bug bounty programs

What you bring

• 7+ years in Security Engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
• CISSP certification
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, cloud security (AWS/GCP), and container security (Kubernetes/Docker)
• Hands-on experience with smart contract auditing, cryptographic primitives, and securing private key management systems
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Rust, or Python) to perform code reviews and build internal security tools
• Experience with security tools such as Snyk, GitHub Advanced Security, Datadog, or Splunk
• Fluency in English
• Ability to translate complex technical risks into business impact for non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

• Previous experience in Fintech or a crypto exchange environment
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia for navigating local regulatory landscapes
