As Head of Finance at Brale, you'll lead the finance function for a regulated stablecoin infrastructure company at a critical growth stage. Reporting directly to the COO, you own FP&A, accounting, treasury, and regulatory reporting, building the financial processes and team that will scale with the business. This is a hands-on builder's role: you'll stand up and mature the finance function from the ground up, not inherit it.

What you'll do

  • Build and lead Brale's finance team, working hands-on across FP&A, accounting, treasury, and regulatory reporting as the company scales
  • Own forecasting, budgeting, and board-level reporting, translating financial data into the strategic narrative for the CEO, board, and leadership team
  • Oversee accounting operations and controls, completing the transition from outsourced bookkeeping to a fully in-house, audit-ready close process
  • Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, increasing speed, accuracy, and control while delivering timely, audit-ready financial results
  • Set treasury strategy and oversee cash management, liquidity, and rebalancing activities tied to Brale's reserve systems across fiat and on-chain rails
  • Own regulatory and compliance reporting for reserve programs, including the quarterly call report and monthly filings, in close partnership with Compliance
  • Build resilient coverage across treasury execution and regulatory reporting so critical functions don't depend on any single person, balancing yield maximization against operating liquidity needs

What you bring

  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including direct, hands-on ownership of FP&A and accounting, not just directing others through it
  • Comfort owning treasury or cash and liquidity management across multiple banking relationships and trading systems, with exposure to on-chain or custodial rails (wallets, exchanges, custodians, USDC, USDT) being a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience with accounting controls and the close process, with or without a CPA
  • Genuine depth in forecasting, budgeting, and translating numbers into a story executives and boards act on
  • Proven experience building and developing high-performing finance teams, including setting clear accountability, coaching direct reports, and creating scalable operating rhythms
  • Experience presenting directly to executives, boards, and investors

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience managing complex payment flows across corporate and customer funds, including timing, sequencing, settlement, and multiple payment rails, while meeting liquidity and control requirements
  • Familiarity with digital asset or stablecoin accounting such as reserve reconciliation and fair-value treatment, or strong interest and aptitude to learn
  • CPA or MBA

What we offer

  • Direct partnership with the CEO and COO and direct access to leadership
  • Remote-first team with regular in-person offsites
  • Anti-deck culture with async communication via Notion
  • Modern finance tooling including DriveTrain, Dual Entry, and AI tools
