Head of Internal Audit

As Head of Internal Audit at Tokocrypto, you establish and lead the internal audit function to provide independent assurance to the Board and senior management on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, financial and internal control processes. You oversee financial, operational, compliance, and risk-based audits to ensure business integrity and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement a risk-based annual audit plan covering financial, operational, and compliance audits
• Lead, manage, and oversee the internal audit team in planning, executing, and reporting audits
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes
• Provide independent assurance on financial reporting processes, operational efficiency, and compliance with laws and regulations
• Identify weaknesses, risks, and improvement opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations
• Present audit findings and reports to senior management and the Audit Committee or Board
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations
• Liaise with external auditors and regulators when necessary
• Ensure audit practices are in line with international standards from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and industry best practices
• Build, develop, and mentor the internal audit team to strengthen capabilities

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA are strongly preferred
• Minimum 8 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key risks and provide practical solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including the Board and Audit Committee
