Head of Product

As Head of Product at Hashgraph, you will define the product and own the roadmap for a cross-ledger settlement solution built by the team that created Hedera. This role addresses a critical gap in institutional finance: assets move between ledgers slower than they land on them, forcing workarounds like bridges that have lost $2.8 billion since 2021. You will report to the founder and work across business development, marketing, and engineering to ship collateral mobility, delivery-versus-payment, payment-versus-payment, cross-border payments, and FX solutions for public and private ledgers.

What you'll do

• Own the product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmap end to end.
• Work closely with business development on go-to-market execution; define the product the market needs and business development can sell.
• Report product status and roadmap changes directly to the founders and executive team.
• Design and run trials with external validators, partners, and customers.
• Make the release readiness call on performance, security, and usability, asking tough questions before launch.
• Run program management across every stakeholder group to keep business development, marketing, and engineering in sync.

What you bring

• 10+ years in product management, product leadership, or an equivalent operating role.
• 5+ years working inside FX, payments, settlement, clearing, custody, collateral management, or banking infrastructure.
• Real operating experience in FX exchange, payments, settlement, or banking-rail businesses, with working knowledge of cross-border payments, stablecoins, on/off-ramps, and how players like SWIFT and Stripe fit together.
• Direct working knowledge of at least two of the following: FX execution and settlement, cross-border payments, delivery-versus-payment or payment-versus-payment settlement, collateral mobility, treasury operations, or tokenized deposits.
• Proven experience owning a roadmap end to end and making the right, hard calls.
• Experience writing product requirements that engineering teams built from directly.
• Experience presenting to executives, boards, or institutional steering committees.

Nice to have

• Distributed ledger or Layer 1 experience.
• Work inside a consortium, governing council, or member-owned network model.
• Exposure to CCIP, Circle and ARC, Canton, Ripple, or comparable enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of stablecoin mechanics, on-ramps and off-ramps, and tokenized collateral.
• First product hire or zero-to-one experience at an early-stage company.

International travel to customer, validator, and partner sites will be required.
