Head of Tokenization

As Head of Tokenization at The Equus Group, you bridge traditional finance and decentralized finance by designing digital asset products, navigating regulatory requirements, and collaborating with engineering and compliance teams. Based in NYC, this role sits at a top-tier firm and demands an appetite for an entrepreneurial environment.

What you'll do

• Build and launch platforms that tokenize traditional assets on blockchain
• Create product roadmaps, research token standards, and test blockchain solutions
• Partner with technology, operations, legal, and compliance teams to integrate tokens safely
• Meet with major investors and asset managers to present tokenization capabilities
• Track global market trends and U.S. financial regulations

What you bring

• 5 to 10 years of experience in blockchain at a protocol, in a business development organization, or as a blockchain-focused VP at an asset manager
• Deep knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, digital wallets, and DeFi tools
• Strong grasp of traditional fund structures, clearing, settlement, and U.S. regulations
• A bachelor's degree in finance, business, technology, or a related field
• Additional financial services experience preferred
