HR Specialist

As an HR Specialist at Crypto Finance, you join a small HR team supporting a professional digital asset services company regulated by FINMA in Switzerland and BaFin in Germany. You'll handle broad operational HR work alongside recruitment activities, supporting the business with accuracy, discretion, and a service-oriented approach. You'll work from our office on the 24th floor of the Prime Tower in Zurich.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including employee data management, sickness and accident notifications, onboarding and offboarding support, HR inquiries, reference letters, and monthly reporting
• Coordinate recruitment activities end-to-end, including drafting and managing job advertisements, aligning with hiring managers, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, documenting feedback, conducting reference checks, and supporting background screening
• Ensure candidate and new joiner files are complete and up-to-date
• Perform four-eye reviews on payroll, respond to payroll-related inquiries, and liaise with external payroll providers
• Administer and maintain HR systems such as Personio and Workable, ensuring high data quality and independently implementing system updates and improvements
• Support HR budget management, including invoice processing, tracking costs, and coordinating with Finance and external partners
• Provide administrative and organizational support across HR topics and projects, taking ownership of assigned initiatives
• Support HR reporting processes, manage stakeholder inquiries, and ensure timely administrative follow-ups with a high degree of diligence and attention to detail

What you bring

• 3-5 years of experience in HR Services, HR Administration, or a similar operational HR role
• Proven recruitment expertise with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to managing the full recruitment lifecycle, particularly for technology and technical specialist roles
• Completed HR-related education, training, or equivalent practical HR experience
• Excellent German and English skills, with English at business level
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take responsibility and work independently in a broad and versatile HR role
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in actively approaching and supporting stakeholders across the organization
• Discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalism with a high sense of responsibility
• Strong IT skills, ideally with hands-on experience in HR software such as Personio or Workable, and MS Office
• A structured, hands-on working style with attention to detail and a strong service mindset
