Identity Solutions Lead

As an Identity Solutions Lead at Daon, you serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, combining technical expertise with business insight across the entire customer journey. You support pre-sales, drive implementation, and ensure post-sales success while bridging technical depth with business value for Daon's biometric and authentication technologies.

What you'll do

• Advise customers on digital identity, biometric authentication, and proofing solutions
• Provide guidance on compliance frameworks including GDPR, PSD2, eIDAS, and FIDO
• Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and shape solutions that meet customer needs
• Deliver demos and lead technical responses for RFPs and POCs
• Translate customer business requirements into secure solution architectures
• Support implementation and integration alongside Customer Success Managers
• Maximise platform adoption and business outcomes for customers
• Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting and enhancements
• Design secure, scalable solutions using Daon's product suite
• Provide best-practice guidance and feed insights into product roadmap planning
• Enable internal teams through training and represent Daon at industry events

What you bring

• 6+ years in identity, authentication, or cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and biometric technologies
• Experience in SaaS platforms and enterprise client engagement
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders
• Expertise in document verification, biometric authentication, and fraud detection
• Proven project management in SaaS/hosted environments
• Strong leadership and communication, with the ability to inspire teamwork and collective achievement
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams across multiple workstreams
• Solid planning and budget management skills
• Skilled at managing diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
• Experience mentoring team members and supporting regulatory documentation
• Ability to travel up to 15%

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and API integrations
• Familiarity with FIDO standards and regulatory landscapes
• Relevant technical certifications such as CISSP, FIDO Certified, or PMP
• PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification (or equivalent)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Honours degree or equivalent qualification
