Institutional Crypto Strategy Specialist

As an Institutional Crypto Strategy Specialist at London Crypto Club, you support research and strategic analysis across cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, and institutional adoption. You combine financial-market research, crypto strategy, institutional market intelligence, and Web3 ecosystem analysis to evaluate developments affecting institutional participation in digital assets, including market structure, investment products, custody, liquidity, DeFi, stablecoins, tokenization, and regulatory developments. You also contribute to educational content, industry research, presentations, and strategic discussions for the club's professional and investor community.

What you'll do

• Research institutional adoption of cryptocurrency and digital assets across financial markets
• Analyze Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi, tokenization, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, and emerging blockchain infrastructure
• Monitor institutional crypto investment trends, market participation, liquidity, and capital flows
• Analyze crypto market structure, trading venues, digital-asset products, and emerging financial infrastructure
• Research institutional portfolio strategies, digital-asset allocation frameworks, and risk considerations
• Track developments across crypto funds, asset managers, banks, exchanges, custodians, fintech companies, and blockchain firms
• Evaluate emerging opportunities across digital assets, decentralized finance, tokenization, and blockchain-based financial products
• Monitor regulatory, macroeconomic, technological, and market developments affecting institutional crypto adoption
• Prepare market intelligence reports, institutional research briefs, presentations, and educational materials
• Translate complex crypto and financial-market developments into clear insights for investors, professionals, and community members
• Conduct research on institutional custody, settlement, liquidity, compliance, and operational considerations
• Analyze market trends, volatility, correlations, liquidity conditions, and major digital-asset risk factors
• Identify important developments and emerging themes across the institutional Web3 ecosystem
• Support educational sessions, industry discussions, workshops, and professional events
• Contribute research and insights to the London Crypto Club's professional and investor community
• Collaborate with founders, investors, traders, researchers, builders, and other Web3 professionals
• Support partnerships and knowledge-sharing initiatives with relevant crypto and financial-market organizations

What you bring

• 2+ years of experience in financial markets, investment research, consulting, fintech, institutional strategy, crypto, blockchain, or a related field
• A strong understanding of cryptocurrency and digital-asset markets
• Knowledge of institutional investment, portfolio strategy, market structure, and financial products
• Familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, stablecoins, tokenization, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, and blockchain infrastructure
• An understanding of institutional crypto adoption and digital-asset market dynamics
• Strong financial, analytical, and research capabilities
• The ability to analyze market data, industry developments, and emerging investment themes
• Familiarity with crypto market-data platforms, blockchain analytics tools, or financial research platforms
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to present complex financial and blockchain concepts clearly to professional audiences
• The ability to work independently in a remote environment
• A strong interest in cryptocurrency, institutional digital assets, DeFi, and financial innovation

Nice to have

• Python, SQL, or data-analysis experience
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• CFA, CAIA, blockchain, or Web3 qualifications

What we offer

• Salary range of $125,000-$145,000 USD per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and role scope
