
Intern, Compliance (AML Operations)
ArtOfBlockchain • Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaAs an AML Operations Compliance Intern at QCP, you support day-to-day client onboarding and Know Your Customer / Know Your Business (KYC/KYB) operations based in Kuala Lumpur. You work closely with cross-functional teams including Coverage, Operations, and Technology to ensure robust data accuracy, streamline refresh pipelines, and maintain compliance integrity across digital asset client portfolios.
What you'll do
- Support the AML Compliance team with day-to-day client onboarding and periodic KYC/KYB refresh reviews
- Update and maintain client records, compliance databases, and operational tracking tools to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Monitor outstanding onboarding and refresh requests, coordinating timely follow-ups with internal teams to prevent bottlenecks
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and management information to support business decision-making
- Partner with Coverage, Operations, and Technology teams to optimize onboarding pipelines and process efficiencies
- Assist with AML compliance initiatives, process improvement projects, and administrative support tasks as assigned
What you bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field
- Ability to commit to a 6-month internship term
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills, proactive approach, and clear verbal and written communication
- Eager to learn and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a high-velocity environment
