Junior Backend Engineer, Java - Web 3 Wallet

As a Junior Backend Engineer at Binance, you join the Wallet team building a decentralized version of Binance with on-chain infrastructure, self-custody wallets, a DEX, and decentralized Earn features. You develop high-performance systems that give users full control over their assets for seamless token trading across any blockchain, supporting this Web3 initiative that complements Binance's CEX business.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance systems, ensuring the rationality and reliability of the architecture
• Understand and apply blockchain technology, providing development support for the Web3 Wallet DEX project
• Collaborate within the team to shape technical architectures and solutions, staying updated on emerging technologies
• Drive the introduction of innovative technologies and solutions, approaching problem-solving with an innovative mindset

What you bring

• 2+ years of Java development experience with a solid foundation in computer science
• Proficiency in multi-threaded programming, familiarity with JVM, understanding of common open-source distributed middleware, caching, and message queues
• Expertise in MySQL performance tuning
• Understanding of blockchain technology
• Strong logical thinking, excellent problem analysis and solving abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team, with stringent requirements for code quality and development standards

Nice to have

• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Cloud
• Prior experience designing and stabilizing large-scale distributed, high-concurrency, high-load, and high-availability systems
• Related blockchain project experience
