Junior Compliance Officer | Crypto

As a Junior Compliance Officer at MultiBank Group, you will join the crypto compliance team of a global financial institution established in 2005 and now headquartered in Dubai. You will assist in developing and monitoring compliance frameworks tailored to digital assets, ensure the organization meets evolving regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, and support AML/KYC efforts in a high-risk environment while gaining exposure to real-time risk mitigation strategies in blockchain and cryptocurrency trading.

What you'll do

• Monitor adherence to applicable crypto regulations, internal policies, and risk controls
• Support the implementation and review of AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring procedures for crypto clients and wallets
• Research global regulatory updates in the crypto space such as FATF, VARA, MiCA, and AUSTRAC, and assess their impact on business operations
• Assist with onboarding compliance checks for high-risk clients and digital asset wallets
• Prepare reports, audits, and compliance documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Assist in internal investigations of compliance breaches and coordinate remediation efforts
• Contribute to the development of crypto-specific compliance policies and risk assessments
• Support employee training programs and increase awareness on AML/CFT and crypto regulations

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field; compliance-related coursework is preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in compliance, AML, risk, or auditing, preferably in crypto, fintech, or financial services
• Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks relevant to crypto assets, AML, and sanctions such as FATF, VARA, and AUSTRAC
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to ethical standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-border environment

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of blockchain technology, crypto transactions, and crypto wallet structures

Note: This role includes night shifts and at least one weekend shift per week. These are separate shifts, and the person covering the night shift will not cover the weekend shift.
