KYC/AML Analyst

As a KYC/AML Analyst at Bitget Wallet, you review individual customer screening alerts and due diligence documents, and develop review procedures with the Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). What you'll do

• Review sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), and adverse-media screening hits; assess match validity and risk, resolve false positives within delegated authority, and escalate potential matches or risk concerns.
• Review Proof of Address (PoA) documents for validity and consistency with customer information.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), including Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW) assessments; evaluate supporting evidence, follow up on inconsistencies, and escalate unresolved concerns.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, review guidelines, customer risk-assessment frameworks, and escalation procedures with the Compliance Officer and MLRO, in line with internal approval requirements.
• Maintain clear case records and decision rationale, and collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to improve review quality and efficiency.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience in individual KYC, AML screening, and EDD, including PoA, SOF, and SOW reviews.
• Ability to assess supporting documents, identify inconsistencies, and make well-supported, risk-based recommendations.
• Ability to develop SOPs, review guidelines, and customer risk-assessment frameworks with compliance stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, written communication, and case-management skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with third-party KYC/AML solutions such as Sumsub, Onfido, LSEG World-Check One, or Neterium, including vendor coordination on escalations or operational issues.
• Previous experience in banking, payment companies, or the cryptocurrency industry.
• Spoken Chinese proficiency.
