Lead Compliance Operations Specialist

As a Lead Compliance Operations Specialist at Bybit, you play a key role in executing our global compliance operations programme. Working across multiple licensed jurisdictions, you translate regulatory commitments into practical operating processes, track them effectively, and maintain them throughout the licence lifecycle. You partner closely with Legal, Licensing, Product, Operations and regional teams to drive operational readiness and ongoing compliance activities.

What you'll do

• Own the tracking of regulatory obligations, licensing conditions and operational actions, coordinating stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Drive the operational implementation of new licences by developing SOPs, process documentation, implementation checklists and business readiness materials.
• Monitor adherence to compliance operational processes, proactively identifying, managing and escalating risks or overdue actions.
• Prepare operational reports, implementation updates and management briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional regulatory implementation activities with Legal, Licensing, Product, Operations and regional teams.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections and operational reviews by coordinating documentation, evidence gathering and remediation tracking.
• Lead operational gap assessments and remediation initiatives to strengthen compliance processes and controls.

What you bring

• 5-7 years of experience in Compliance Operations, Regulatory Operations, Project Management Office or a similar operational role within financial services, fintech or another regulated industry.
• Experience leading cross-functional implementation projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong organisational, project coordination and stakeholder management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to develop clear SOPs, process documentation and management reports.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Crypto or digital asset experience.
• Mandarin proficiency to support collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
