Lead Cryptography Security Engineer - TSPV

As a Lead Cryptography Security Engineer at Compas, you design, deploy and manage enterprise cryptographic infrastructure across secure ICT environments. You lead Key Management Systems (KMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), PKI and encryption services in a Canberra-based onsite role supporting government and enterprise clients.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy and configure enterprise KMS infrastructure and cryptographic services
• Manage cryptographic key lifecycles, HSMs, PKI, encryption and certificate services
• Integrate cryptographic capabilities across cloud, hybrid-cloud and on-premises environments
• Conduct security assurance, risk analysis, hardening and vulnerability remediation

What you bring

• SFIA Level 5 capability in cryptographic engineering within secure enterprise environments
• Strong expertise across KMS, HSMs, PKI, encryption and key lifecycle management
• Experience with security risk, assurance, accreditation and vulnerability management
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to provide specialist technical security advice
• Current TSPV security clearance

What we offer

• 12-month contract with possible 2 x 12-month extensions
• Onsite role based in Canberra, ACT; regular work from home cannot be accommodated, though occasional requests may be considered
