As Lead Product Manager for Exchange Trading at Crypto.com, you own the U.S. futures and regulated derivatives roadmap for professional and power traders. You work directly with Exchange product leadership to build futures products that traders actually use, from contract selection through order lifecycle and risk management. Your mandate covers both DCM (Designated Contract Market) and FCM (Futures Commission Merchant) surfaces, with full ownership of strategy, prioritization, and shipping at the pace a growth-mode FCM demands.
What you'll do
- Own the U.S. Exchange trading and futures roadmap end to end. Set milestones, sequence work, resolve cross-team dependencies, and sign off on all product launches in this scope.
- Ship futures products traders actually use. Decide which contracts, workflows, and tools come next based on trader behavior and outcomes, not feature checklists.
- Translate DCM and FCM operations into product decisions. Apply your fluency in margins, clearing, order lifecycle, and operational constraints to build product that scales without becoming a compliance blocker after launch.
- Operate at growth-mode pace. Prioritize ruthlessly, cut scope when needed, and ship when volume and urgency are both rising.
- Partner across risk, compliance, engineering, and operations. Align stakeholders around clear outcomes, surface regulatory and operational constraints early, and own the execution without waiting for handoffs.
- Research traders like a peer. Run direct feedback loops and observe how traders actually enter, manage, and exit futures positions. Distinguish what they say from what their behavior reveals.
- Own the numbers. Instrument volume drivers, size opportunities, prioritize based on data, and track outcomes in volume, engagement, and ship cadence without waiting for analysis to be handed to you.
What you bring
- DCM and/or FCM futures product experience, or demonstrated growth-mode experience as an operator inside an FCM. You have owned or shipped futures and derivatives product in a DCM or FCM context, or worked inside an FCM scaling fast and can walk through what you owned, what broke under scale, and how you responded.
- Lead-level product ownership of a complex trading or markets product surface end to end, with a concrete example of how you shipped when cross-functional dependencies broke down.
- Futures and markets fluency. You understand contract specs, margins, order types, position lifecycle, and how professional traders actually trade futures. You can articulate what makes futures UX and workflow great versus frustrating.
- A track record of shipping under constraint. You can point to a launch where regulatory, clearing, risk, or operational constraints were real and you still delivered a trader-usable product.
- Cross-functional leadership without relying on title. You align engineering, risk, compliance, and operations around outcomes and escalate only what must escalate.
- Data ownership. You instrument your own funnel and volume drivers, size opportunities, and prioritize without waiting for analysis.
Nice to have
- Prior exchange, brokerage, or advanced trading platform product management experience (crypto or traditional).
- Institutional or professional trader product experience.
- Hands-on futures trading or daily use of the products you ship.
- Experience standing up or scaling U.S.-regulated futures distribution, including FCM onboarding, DCM listings, and margin products.
- Design sensibility for dense trading UIs. You can evaluate hierarchy, density, and interaction cost with specifics.
- Fluency with AI tools to move faster while maintaining human judgment on key decisions.
