Legal & Compliance Operations Manager

As a Legal & Compliance Operations Manager at Wincent, you execute the operational layer of Compliance and Legal for a 150+ person team focused on high-frequency trading with approximately 1% of global crypto trading volume. You run onboarding, track multiple parallel workstreams, and ensure nothing slips between Compliance, internal departments, and external counterparties. This is a hands-on execution role where you will run processes, improve them, and fix them when they break.

What you'll do

• Monitor communication channels, assist counterparties with onboarding, track onboarding status, and manage initial and final stages
• Manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and counterparty experience, suggest improvements, and help implement better workflows
• Gather data and prepare concise summaries or briefs for the CLO and senior compliance and legal stakeholders
• Prepare agendas, facilitate meetings, record minutes, and track follow-ups

What you bring

• At least 2 years of experience in operations, project management, consulting, finance, or a similar role involving organisation and decision-making, or experience as a senior legal secretary or executive assistant in a high-performance environment
• Experience managing projects or coordinating complex workflows
• Comfort working with multiple stakeholders across functions
• Attention to detail and the ability to deliver reliable outputs while reducing risk of errors
• Strong organisational and structured thinking, with the ability to map out processes, prioritise, and track multiple projects
• Proficiency with project management tools, specifically Asana
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to break down issues and propose solutions
• Strong communication skills, including clear writing and comfort engaging with different stakeholders
• A learning mindset to pick up new concepts quickly and handle unfamiliar tasks
• Business sense and understanding of the basics of business operations and finance
• Receptiveness to feedback and the ability to improve quickly through collaboration

Nice to have

• Exposure to crypto, trading, or financial services
• Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile or Scrum
• Experience in client-facing or key account roles
• Experience drafting emails, presentations, and reports
