Legal Counsel, Web3 Products

As a Legal Counsel for Web3 Products at OKX, you provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders across new products, features, and regulatory changes. You join a leading crypto exchange and wallet provider backed by Proof of Reserves, working within OKG's global group. This middle to senior level role requires outstanding legal skills, the ability to assess risk in newly regulated and unregulated environments, and a strong work ethic.

What you'll do

• Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders for new products, features to existing products, marketing materials for Web3 products, and changes in applicable regulatory environments
• Draft, maintain, review and negotiate a wide range of documents, including commercial agreements, internal policies, terms of service, legal disclaimers and other templates for use by business teams
• Liaise with and manage external counsel as required
• Monitor and advise on legal and compliance developments, especially in the US, and their impact on the Web3 business
• Maintain and brief internal stakeholders on internal standard operating processes owned by the Web3 Products legal team
• Provide general support to Web3 business teams

What you bring

• A qualification as a lawyer with 8-15 years post-qualification experience, including experience in blockchain and other decentralised Web3 products and services such as token projects, dApps and aggregator platforms
• U.S. Bar admission (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with product management and software development workflows
• Sound judgment on business practices, internal and external stakeholder relationship management and reputational risk
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Strong organisational and detail-oriented approach, with excellent drafting and communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to manage stakeholders in high pressure and time-sensitive situations
