Legal Operations Analyst

As a Legal Operations Analyst at Ava Labs, you support the legal team in building a world-class legal department for a leading blockchain technology company. You work closely with the finance team to ensure alignment and efficiency across critical legal operations, managing contract workflows, compliance records, IP portfolios, and policies that keep the organization running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Manage daily operations of the contract management platform, ensuring accurate processing and filing, and conduct regular audits to optimize workflows
• Maintain legal and compliance records, updating protocols as needed, and coordinate projects to track timelines and deliverables
• Assist with patent and trademark applications by collaborating with internal and external counsel and inventors, and manage the company's IP portfolio
• Support the development and maintenance of KYC and AML compliance procedures, review and update internal legal protocols, and manage legal review of company communication materials
• Assist with account onboarding and act as a liaison between Legal, Finance, and Operations to resolve overlapping responsibilities and streamline processes

What you bring

• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree
• 5+ years of experience in an administrative role
• Experience managing workflow processes for a minimum of 10 people
• Advanced experience with Google Business Suite (GSuite)
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• A proactive attitude to take ownership, anticipate needs, and independently seek ways to contribute to team efficiency
• A collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with teams across functions
• Ability to work independently and adapt easily to different tasks

Nice to have

• Experience at a law firm, tech company, or in-house legal department

What we offer

• Salary range of $97,276 to $121,595
• Hybrid schedule in the Brooklyn office, 2 days per week, for candidates based in New York City
