As Manager of Treasury New Products at Checkout.com, you will serve as the primary driver and subject-matter expert for digital assets and crypto initiatives from a Treasury perspective. You bridge Product and Treasury, translating innovative ideas into pragmatic processes and methodologies. You act as a dedicated Treasury partner to Product-led crypto and digital asset initiatives, while also directly leading Treasury-driven digital asset native projects that drive transformation and optimization across the organization.
What you'll do
- Work with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Legal to review and advise on crypto and digital asset product development opportunities from the Treasury standpoint, helping shape strategy and execution paths.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Product teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination with relevant Treasury subject matter experts and vice versa.
- Assess Treasury impacts and synthesize requirements from Treasury SMEs across different disciplines and geographies, including risk management, bank relations, data, system integration, and operational processes, translating them into actionable, prioritized business requirements for new product development.
- Drive the digital assets native strategy and lead implementation to modernize Checkout's Treasury management approach, infrastructure, and tooling, working closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Ensure that capabilities, data flows, and risk controls are robustly built, and processes and procedures are established before products go live and scale in production.
- Proactively develop comprehensive knowledge of Checkout's infrastructure, product stack, and flow of funds, leveraging cross-domain insight to solve complex challenges between fiat and digital asset products.
- Support documentation and implementation of operating models, frameworks, and policies relevant to New Products and alignment at the Enterprise level.
What you bring
- Practical, hands-on experience operating with crypto wallets or within digital assets ecosystems, such as at a crypto-native firm, fintech innovator, or digital-asset banking unit.
- Hands-on experience in Treasury and Finance change management, or Product Management with direct exposure to complex payment infrastructure, flow of funds, and cash management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and engage effectively with different stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in new product assessments, project management, or business advisory roles.
- An understanding of complex payment and flow of funds.
- Familiarity with financial resource management or cash management practices.
