Market Surveillance Specialist

As a Market Surveillance Specialist at Bybit, you play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with market integrity regulations. You monitor trading activities, analyze data for potential market abuse, and collaborate with internal teams to uphold our commitment to ethical trading practices.

What you'll do

• Conduct thorough monitoring of trading activities across various markets to detect potential market abuse, including insider trading and market manipulation
• Prepare detailed reports on findings and present them to the compliance team and senior management
• Document suspicious activities in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Stay up-to-date with local and EU regulations regarding market abuse, ensuring that our practices comply with the latest legal requirements
• Work closely with the compliance, legal, and trading teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving compliance practices
• Assist in developing training materials and programs to raise awareness about market abuse among employees and stakeholders
• Utilize advanced analytics tools and software to analyze trading data and identify patterns indicative of market abuse

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or trading role, with a focus on market abuse
• A strong understanding of relevant regulations, including MiFID II and MAR (Market Abuse Regulation)
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Effective communication skills in both English and German
