Media Analyst

As a Media Analyst at CryptoMize, you own the media-measurement layer of live client engagements end-to-end, from corpus design through to the recommendations that reach the client deck. You join the media-measurement cell that powers reputation and political engagements across five intelligence domains, working from our New Delhi HQ on a full-time, permanent basis with immediate joining available.

What you'll do

• Own the media-measurement layer of live client engagements end-to-end, from corpus design through to the recommendations that reach the client deck
• Set and enforce coverage-quality standards on the corpora our platforms (CLAIRVOYANCE CX, PERCEPTION X2) consume, rejecting and remediating poisoned or syndicated-only inputs
• Design the measurement architecture for new engagements, including share-of-voice baselines, sentiment movement thresholds, and earned-media-value framing, before coverage collection begins
• Deliver recurring media-analytical products: weekly movement reports, anomaly investigations on coverage spikes, and quarterly narrative trend reads
• Mentor analyst interns attached to your engagements
• Sit in client briefings as the measurement authority, answering questions about coverage authenticity with corpus slices and scoring methods to support your answer
• Extract coverage data from multiple sources (broadcast monitoring exports, online news APIs, social listening feeds, podcast transcripts), then organize, validate, and score it into engagement-ready structures
• Maintain audit trails that allow any coverage read to be reconstructed corpus slice by corpus slice on demand in front of a client

What you bring

• Advanced SQL, including window functions, query planning, and performance optimization on multi-GB media corpora
• Production-grade Python with pandas pipelines that others can run, not just notebooks
• Statistical rigor in hypothesis testing, regression, time-series fundamentals, and the ability to identify when a coverage spike is noise
• Measurement design expertise: choosing the metric that answers the actual client question (reach vs. impact vs. sentiment)
• Media-quality forensics: spotting syndicated rewrites, bot-amplification signatures, and sampling bias
• Dashboard architecture experience in Metabase or Grafana, designed for decision speed rather than decoration
• Ability to write analytical documentation that supports reproducible methods per engagement
• Client-facing communication skills: defending a coverage read under skeptical questioning
• Channel-aware reading discipline across print, broadcast, online, and social media
• Domain curiosity across reputation, politics, security, and finance
• Discretion with NDA-grade client media datasets (non-negotiable)
• Mentorship capability for junior analysts and interns
