As a Payment Channel Partnership Manager at OSL, you own and grow payment partnerships across Indonesia and broader SEA/ASEAN/Asia. You build and manage relationships with local payment service providers, banks, and FX liquidity providers to enable seamless collection and payout for OSL Pay and BizPay. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you work closely with legal, compliance, product, and business development teams to launch and optimize local payment channels that move value efficiently using stablecoins and crypto. You must have direct experience in Emerging Asian markets, with Indonesian market expertise being essential.
What you'll do
- Identify, vet, and onboard local PSPs, banking partners, and FX liquidity providers across Emerging Asia and ASEAN markets
- Lead contract negotiations covering pricing, terms, service levels, and compliance requirements
- Ensure competitive foreign exchange rates and reliable liquidity for local currency pairs by managing relationships with FX providers and leveraging stablecoin rails
- Partner with legal and compliance to ensure all payment channels meet diverse and evolving local regulations across APAC jurisdictions
- Work with product and operations teams to integrate new payment solutions, reduce friction, and optimize transaction success rates
- Stay ahead of local market developments, including new PSP entrants, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape in APAC fintech and crypto
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or crypto with strong focus on Southeast Asia (ASEAN) and Emerging Asian markets
- Established relationships with local PSPs, banks, and/or FX providers in the region, with familiarity of key players
- Solid understanding of local payment methods such as bank transfers, e-wallets, QR code payments, and direct debit, and how they interact with crypto and stablecoin flows
- Experience sourcing competitive FX rates, managing currency risk, or working with liquidity providers in emerging markets
- Knowledge of local payment and crypto regulations in key APAC markets, and ability to structure partnerships to remain compliant
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage supplier costs, and drive measurable business outcomes
- Understanding of stablecoins, cross-border crypto payments, and the unique challenges crypto companies face when working with traditional financial partners
- Fluent in English; fluency in one or more key regional languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, Thai, or Tagalog is highly preferred
