Join the research group of Prof. Dr. Cas Cremers at CISPA − Helmholtz Center for Information Security in Saarbrücken, Germany. We are seeking motivated full-time PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to work at the forefront of security protocol analysis, applied cryptography, and formal verification. The intended start date is October 2025, though other arrangements can be discussed if necessary.
What you'll do
As a PhD student or postdoc, you will conduct research in security protocol analysis, applied cryptography, and formal verification within an international and interdisciplinary team. You will benefit from close individual supervision, worldwide collaborations, and significant funding for travel and equipment.
What you bring
- A Master's degree from a research-oriented institution in a subject relevant to our research
- For PhD Students: a background in computer science, formal methods, logics, or cryptography
- For Postdocs: evidence of performing top-tier research
