PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer at Crypto Mize, you own the backend services powering intelligence platforms across 18 countries, from data pipelines and dashboard APIs to OSINT ingestion services. You sit inside the platform team that builds and maintains the operational backbone the analyst and OSINT cells depend on every day. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our New Delhi HQ with immediate joining, staffed ahead of engagement demand.

What you'll do

• Own the PHP backend services powering intelligence platforms end-to-end, including data pipelines, dashboard APIs, and OSINT ingestion services that form the operational backbone
• Set and enforce the platform's PHP engineering standards through code review discipline, test coverage, observability, and engineering hygiene
• Design service architecture for new platform capabilities such as ingestion services, dashboard APIs, and optimization passes before implementation begins
• Deliver recurring platform products including weekly reliability reviews, monthly performance audits, and quarterly platform narratives for leadership
• Mentor platform interns and junior developers attached to your services to strengthen intern-to-platform conversion
• Sit in platform reviews as the PHP engineering authority, providing architecture and capacity analysis when leadership evaluates new engagement support
• Maintain documentation that allows any service shipped to be reconstructed line by line on demand for the analyst and OSINT cells

What you bring

• Advanced PHP 8.x proficiency, including modern language features, type system, and attribute system
• Deep Laravel framework knowledge covering routing, middleware, queues, and the patterns used in production services
• PostgreSQL performance expertise, including query design, indexing, and optimization on multi-million-row datasets
• API design experience at platform scale with RESTful contracts, versioning, and the API layer that ties internal tooling together
• Data pipeline engineering at platform scale, covering ingestion, transformation, and the layer that turns raw OSINT into structured stores
• Test-driven development discipline with PHPUnit and integration tests
• Git and code review discipline at platform scale
• Container and deployment fluency with Docker and Kubernetes
• Performance profiling skills including query plans and latency budgets
• Observability expertise with logs, metrics, and traces to catch regressions before they reach production
• Experience mentoring junior developers and interns
• Ability to maintain discretion with NDA-grade client material

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis for caching and queue infrastructure
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD discipline
