PKI- en Cryptografie Consultant

As a PKI and Cryptography Consultant at Deloitte, you join the Cyber team to design and deliver secure, innovative solutions. You work as a technical expert on client projects, advising on Public Key Infrastructure and cryptographic protocols while mentoring junior team members to help clients protect their digital assets and strengthen their security posture.

What you'll do

• Design and implement PKI solutions and cryptographic architectures to support secure communication and data integrity
• Evaluate and assess clients' existing PKI and cryptography frameworks, identifying improvement and optimisation opportunities
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and develop tailored strategies for PKI implementation and management
• Review and develop cryptography policies and governance documents to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements and the organisation's risk posture
• Design robust and scalable cybersecurity solutions beyond PKI, applying best practices in system design, implementation and maintenance across diverse environments
• Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on PKI and cryptography best practices for clients and internal teams
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements related to cryptography and PKI, including quantum cyber threats

What you bring

• Demonstrable experience with PKI solutions and cryptographic protocols
• Deep knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, key management and certificate lifecycle management
• Proficiency with PKI tools and technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services, Keyfactor EJBCA, HashiCorp Vault or equivalent systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Dutch and English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
